We still get lots of questions about the latest status of Member States decisions in relation to implementation of Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008).
That's why I decided to ask ECHA for the latest update before 2022 ends. ECHA is the primary source, on this subject. That said let’s look at what they wrote to me:
»We have not received any further news from these two countries. As soon as we know more, we'll update the "Overview of Member States decisions" table. «
Now that you know what ECHA has to say, let’s briefly summarize December overview:
Only Bulgaria and Slovakia are still fully using their own systems for PCN notifications and are not yet connected to the ECHA portal.
All other EU countries are connected to the ECHA portal, and you can send PCN notifications via the ECHA submission portal.
When it comes to fees for PCN notifications, the following goes:
- Belgium– €200 per notification;
- Italy– €50 per local distributor (regardless of the number of products);
- Hungary– price €50 per notification.
Hope this short December’s overview helps you. And if you want to go deeper on the subject than this link is for you.
