Have you ever considered selling products under your “private label”?
Here’s a situation we see often. Maybe you find it familiar too.
You are thinking of selling several products under “private label”.
This requires two steps.
First, you need to remove all traces of the manufacturers’ details from Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
And second, you need to create new SDS for which you are now responsible. On this new SDS you replace manufacturer’s data with your company name. This is how you become “new” supplier and your private label is “born”.
But are you allowed to do that?
Yes, you can do that. This is OK if you create new SDS as in SDS only one supplier from the supply chain should be written.
In your case, removing manufacturer’s details from SDS and replacing them with your data as supplier is perfectly fine.
If you don’t have the time, we can help.
