Registration of substances

The registration of substances (substances as such or in mixtures) must be performed if you are the producer or the importer of a substance and if you annually produce or import at least one tonne of this substance. The registration is performed at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

The registration of a substance requires an extensive dossier including:

  • physical and chemical data,
  • toxicological and eco-toxicological studies,
  • chemical safety assessment,
  • exposure scenarios and measures for the safe use of substance,
  • chemical safety report,
  • SDS that summarises the implemented studies.

After our personal meeting and understanding of your expectations, we start assessing the current situation. In this phase we review the available documentation and prepare a professional situation evaluation and report for your company.

What do we provide in the scope of this service?

  • We review the
    availabledocumentation

  • We prepare an
    individualdossier

  • We submit
    the registration

We also suggest a plan of necessary activities and a schedule for further procedures.

In the second phase we prepare an individual dossier, which includes two stages. The first one comprises the organisation and acquisition of all necessary analyses and studies. The second stage comprises professional implementation of an individual dossier.

The completion of the individual dossier is the precondition for the third and final phase of the entire registration process. There we enter data electronically and submit the registration via the IUCLID application.

With our help, you will not only save time but you will also be able to reduce your costs and simplify your work!

Late pre–registration

If you are already producing or importing a substance or mixture and haven’t performed the pre-registration or registration, then there is still time to do it. Late pre-registration is time-limited therefore you have to act as soon as possible.

Who is a candidate for late pre-registration? The producers and/or importers of substances (individual substances or in mixtures) in quantities below 100 tonnes may use the opportunity for extending the registration deadline with late pre-registration within 6 months after the first production or first import. That is until 1 January 2018, if the quantity is lower than 100 tonnes.

The service includes the following activities:

  • a review of all the documentation that you have,
  • advising you on obtaining data about the substance (we tell you what you need and where to get it; if necessary, we write the letters on your behalf),
  • helping you identify the substance (which is relevant for the inclusion of the substance in the SIEF),
  • opening an account at the European Chemicals Agency in your name,
  • submitting the necessary information to ECHA in your name, acquiring your pre-registration number and send it to you.

Our expertise about the procedures enables you to get the pre-registration number in 48 hours!
