We process hundreds of PCNs. And we’ve noticed one consistent delay:
Missing or incomplete documentation.
We get it. You’re busy. But to submit a PCN, we need:
- A valid EU SDS with 90% composition (100 % composition is ideal to avoid further questions on composition from authorities)
- Label artwork with hazard and precautionary sentences
- All the relevant trade names/brands
- Packaging unit details and quantity of product in packaging units
- Intended use (consumer, professional, industrial)
- Targeted marketplaces – where you or your distributors want to sell your products
Even one missing detail can stall your notification.
Pro tip: Prepare everything before you confirm the service. It speeds up the process and gets your product to the market faster.
Want a checklist to speed things up? Let us know and we’ll send one your way.
