
Has a chemical inspector visited you or your customer already this year in Slovenia?
To help you better prepare for the inspector's visit, we are sharing a list of guidelines and priorities for the work of the Chemical Inspection in 2025.
Areas to be subject to targeted inspections in 2025:
- Prohibited substances in electrical and electronic equipment : sampling of up to 10 samples, Regulations on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment,
- Volatile organic compounds in paints and varnishes and vehicle refinishing products: sampling up to 10 samples, Regulation on maximum levels of volatile organic compounds in certain colours, and light and vehicle refinishing products,
- International Advertising and Distance Sales Control Project (EU project REF-13), REACH and CLP;
- control of biocidal products (EU project BEF-3), Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products;
- Supervision of notifications under Art. 45. CLP Regulation (EU Project PCN), CLP Regulation,
- Control of persistent organic chemicals in products, Regulation (EC) No 850/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on persistent organic pollutants,
- Microplastics control, REACH Regulation, Annex XVII, Entry 78,
- Control of DDD activities (disinfection, disinsection, rodent control): Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 on the making available on the market and use of biocidal products.
Of course, this does not mean that all other legislative requirements should not be complied with and that the inspector will not notice any other irregularities.
